As part of this strategic partnership, we're building a specialized Professional Services team that will guide international customers through the successful implementation of the AP Automation platform.</p> <p>This is a customer-facing consulting role where you'll combine your finance knowledge, analytical thinking, and implementation experience to help organizations modernize the way they purchase, approve invoices, manage suppliers, and automate financial operations.</p> <blockquote> <p> <strong>Start date</strong>: September 2026<br /> <strong>Contract type</strong>: Contractor, Full-Time, 100% Remote<br /> <strong>Work hours</strong>: Monday to Friday, 7.00 am to 4.00 pm PST</p> </blockquote> <hr> <h3>What You’ll Be Doing</h3> <p>As a Functional Consultant, you'll become a trusted advisor for customers. Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Managing implementation projects, tracking timelines, milestones, and project deliverables.</li> <li>Leading functional consulting activities, including discovery sessions to identify business requirements.</li> <li>Understanding customers' finance and procurement processes.</li> <li>Translating business needs into system configuration following best practices.</li> <li>Advising customers on process improvements, 3-way matching rules, and automation opportunities.</li> <li>Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training sessions, and Go-Live activities.</li> <li>Helping customers successfully adopt the platform and maximize business value.</li> <li>Managing multiple implementation projects simultaneously while maintaining an excellent customer experience.</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>What You Need to Succeed</h3> <h3>Must-haves</h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of hands-on experience implementing ERPs, Financial Systems, or SaaS platforms.</li> <li>Proven experience balancing Project Management and Functional Consulting duties during software rollouts.</li> <li>Solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchase-to-Pay, Source-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, or Spend Management processes.</li> <li>Proven ability to work directly and autonomously with customers during software implementations.</li> <li>Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into functional system configurations.</li> <li>Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.</li> <li>Professional-level English (customer-facing role).</li> </ul> <h3>Nice-to-haves</h3> <p>Experience with one or more of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Medius</li> <li>Oracle Financials</li> <li>Oracle NetSuite</li> <li>SAP FI / MM</li> <li>Microsoft Dynamics AX / Finance &amp; Operations</li> <li>Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central</li> <li>Infor M3</li> <li>Coupa</li> <li>Basware</li> <li>Ariba</li> <li>Jaggaer</li> </ul> <p>Additionally:</p> <ul> <li>Power BI</li> <li>SQL</li> <li>Business Intelligence or Reporting tools</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>Our Recruitment Process</h3> <p>Here’s what to expect from our candidate-friendly interview process:</p> <ol> <li> <p><strong>Initial Interview – Talent Acquisition (60 minutes):</strong> A conversation with our Talent Acquisition Specialist to learn more about your professional background, functional and project management experience, and career goals.
